In form Kano Pillars striker Christian Obiozor has set his sight on emerging as the highest goal scorer in every tournament entered for this season. Obiozor who recently announced his entry to Kano Pillars with a top scorer award during the LMC organized Super 6 competition says he wants to finish as the top scorer in Africa’s Premier club competition the CAF Champions League. “I have set a target of being the highest goal scorer in the CAF Champions League. TENNIS: Roger Federer beats Novak Djokovic to win Dubai title

 Roger Federer beat world number one Novak Djokovic 6-3 7-5 to win his seventh Dubai Championship title. The Swiss, playing in his 126th ATP final, served brilliantly throughout to trouble Djokovic and also pass 9,000 aces in singles matches. But the Serb hung on and he had set points in the second set only for Federer to rescue the situation. The world number two saved all seven break points against him and another superb serve set up the win. "Playing against Novak is always special. I think we get the best out of each other," Federer said. "I definitely won the big points tonight so I am pleased I came up with some good serves." Former World Cup final referee Webb says he has provided advice and support to under-pressure match officials. "They want to be told: 'You are not losing your mind, you are not losing your ability,'" Webb, 43, said. Elite-group referees Martin Atkinson and Roger East have both made high-profile errors during recent Premier League matches. US Open champion Marin Cilic and world number seven Stan Wawrinka are the latest players to agree to play in the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club. The pair join British number one Andy Murray, defending champion Grigor Dimitrov and four-time champion Lleyton Hewitt in the tournament line-up. "The atmosphere is always something special. Liverpool FC reports first profit for seven years

Liverpool Football Club has reported a profit for the first time in seven years, largely as a result of a rise in revenue from the Premier League. The club reported a pre-tax profit of £0.9m in the year to 31 May 2014, compared with losses of £49.8m a year earlier. Revenues were 19% higher at £255.6m, the club added. Highlighting the importance of TV broadcast revenue, Liverpool said media revenues increased 46% to £100.9m. That compared with a 5% increase in commercial revenue to £103.8m, as the club agreed seven new sponsorship deals. It said several more had been agreed in the new financial year. The club also reported a £12.2m rise in net debt to £57.3m. But it added overall debt had decreased from £237m since 2010 when Fenway Sports Group, the US investment company run by John W Henry, took control of the club.
