Philip Asuquo’s 80th minute penalty goal was enough to stretch Yobe Stars’ winning streak to 4 consecutive NPFL home wins and clean sheet streak to 4 consecutive NPFL clean sheets at home as Yobe stars won Rivers United 1-0 in Damaturu. The defeat put Rivers United away form in more misery as they have now lost their last 5 consecutive NPFL away matches and failed to score in any of their last 4 consecutive NPFL away matches.
