A total of 18 goals were scored in 10 matches across the nation in week 12 of the NPFL. Eight matches ended in home wins while two matches ended in a draw. Only one red card was issued during week 12 matches making it a total of 12 red cards issued in 12 weeks; an average of 1 every week.
AKWA 1-0 ELKANEMI
-          Akwa has now won their last 4 consecutive home matches in the NPFL

ABS 1-0 KATSINA UTD
-          ABS has won all their home matches in the NPFL since 2013 and they have conceded just 1 goal at home this season.
-          This is the first match between ABS and Katsina in the NPFL

IFEANYI UBAH 2-2 ABIA WARRIORS
-          This is the first time Ifeanyi Ubah has failed to win in their last four consecutive home matches in all competition.
-          Ifeanyi Ubah just conceded for the first time at home this season in the NPFL.
-          This is Abia Warrior’s first point away from home in their last 4 consecutive away matches in the NPFL.
-          Abia Warriors has never lost a match to Ifeanyi Ubah both home and away in the NPFL.

MFM 1-0 REMO
-          MFM has won all their home matches this season and they have conceded just one goal at home this season.
-          Remo drew their last match away at shooting stars.
-          This is the first match between MFM and Remo in the NPFL.

TORNADOES 2-0 NASARAWA UTD
-          Tornadoes has now won their last 3 consecutive home matches without conceding a goal.
-          Nasarawa utd has lost their last 5 consecutive away matches in the NPFL.
-          Nasarawa utd has never scored a goal away at Tornadoes and has never gotten any point there in the NPFL.

RIVERS UTD 1-0 RANGERS
-          This is Rivers utd first win in their last 7 consecutive matches in the NPFL.

SHOOTING 1-1 PLATEAU
-          Shooting are without a win in their last 5 consecutive matches in the NPFL.
-          The last match between Shooting and Plateau in Ibadan ended in a 2-2 draw.

SUNSHINE 1-0 WIKKI
-          This is Sunshine second win in their last 6 matches in the NPFL
-          Wikki has lost their last 11 consecutive away matches in the NPFL.
-          Sunshine has won all their home matches in the NPFL against Wikki since 2012. They’ve never lost to Wikki since 2012.

KANO 3-1 ENYIMBA
-          Kano has won all their home matches this season in the NPFL conceding just 2 goals.
-          Enyimba has now lost their last 4 consecutive away matches this season.

LOBI 1-0 GOMBE
-          Gombe has lost all their away matches played so far this season in the NPFL.
-          Since 2010, Gombe has never scored a goal away at Lobi in the NPFL.
-          Since 2011, Lobi has won all their home matches against Gombe in the NPFL
