Sam Okpodu Resumes duty at Ikorodu United


Former Warri Wolves team coach Sam Okpodu has been appointed the Head coach of struggling Nigerian Proffessional Football League (NPFL) side Ikorodu United. He is to resume duties immediately to turn around the downward slide of the team for the better. 
Ikorodu United are one of the four newly promoted side to the NPFL from the NNL and are currently placed 17th on the 2016 NPFL table. 
Sam Okpodu who is a former Nigerian international, has handled the Super Falcons and has managerial and coaching experience abroad.
He was appointed the coach of Warri wolves at the end of last season after Paul Aigbogun left Warri Wolves for Enyimba but was shown the way out following Warri wolves' poor show at the Super-four preseason tournament in Kaduna and Uyo.
