BUY STEVEN FLETCHER FOR A CLUB RECORD FEE AND BE RELEGATED
This is not to witch-hunt any footballer but the happenings connected to whenever a club buys Steven Fletcher for a club record transfer fee is too important to be ignored.
Steven Fletcher was bought for a club record transfer fee of 3million Pounds by Burnley FC in June 2009 but the club were relegated from the Premier League.

Fletcher was then transfered to Wolverhampton Wanderers for a club record fee of 6.5million Pounds in 2010 and in 2012, the club were relegated from the Premier League.
Fletcher again was transfered to Sunderland AFC for a club record fee of 14million Pounds (with 12million Pounds up front) in 2012 and the team has been frolicking with the relegation zone finishing 14th and 16th in the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 premier league season respectively. Sunderland are currently placed 19th on the English Premier League table.
"Could this mean that any club that pays a record transfer fee to bring-in Steven Fletcher will eventually be relegated?"
